The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) developed an infographic, State Solar Spotlight on Wisconsin 2020, that shows Wisconsin installed 237.3 MW of solar in 2020 (down from 41.16 MW in 2019) or enough installed solar to power more than 37,100 homes. Wisconsin ranked 34^th nationally, a drop from 26^th in 2019. The state supports 2,871 solar jobs with 141 solar companies operating in Wisconsin including 35 manufacturers and 64 installers/developers. Since 2010, the solar industry has invested over $419 million in Wisconsin.
