Applicants are asked to identify one point of contact to work with Extension and should be prepared to:

  • Describe the situation (i.e., the community economic development challenges you want to understand and address)
  • Identify what you hope to achieve by being part of this pilot
  • Provide insight about who will be part of your local leadership team
  • Demonstrate commitment to this effort from the local community

We strongly recommend downloading the application questions and preparing your answers before placing your answers into the application form. The application form may time out before you can submit your questions if you choose to write the questions directly into the submission form. To guarantee your work is saved, be sure to prepare your answers and then copy and paste your responses into the application form. You can find the questions here (PDF, Word).
