In partnership with the Rural Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Initiative, the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic will deliver a legal clinic at the Hmong American Center in Wausau on July 8 from 11:00-2:30pm. The clinic is also sponsored by the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce.
The clinic will be led by attorney Jeff Glazer, who is a Clinical Professor at the UW Law School. Jeff works in the UW Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic supervising students’ representation of startup businesses and manages the Rural Entrepreneurship Program. He has also worked in private practice, started multiple companies, and sits on a number of community and company boards. He is active in government as a County Supervisor for Dane County.
Jeff will present for about an hour, then be open for questions/sessions of 4-5 people for 20 minutes per group. During that time participants can network and learn more about the Hmong Wausau Chamber of Commerce, Hmong American Center, and more entrepreneurs in the community. Presentation and consultations will be in English, but participants can request Hmong interpretation by contacting RWEI Outreach Specialist Maggie Cornelius at mmcornelius@wisc.edu.
