In partnership with the Rural Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Initiative, the Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council, and the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic will deliver two legal clinics at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire. The first will be held on October 22, 12-3pm and the second will be held on December 10 from 12:30-3pm.
The clinic will be led by attorney Jeff Glazer, who is a Clinical Professor at the UW Law School. Jeff works in the UW Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic supervising students’ representation of startup businesses and manages the Rural Entrepreneurship Program. He has also worked in private practice, started multiple companies, and sits on a number of community and company boards. He is active in government as a County Supervisor for Dane County.
Jeff will present about legal essentials for start-ups for the first hour and then will offer individual consultations for the remaining time. Lunch is provided and Hmong interpretation will be available.
