Homegrown: Entrepreneurship in Your Community
Homegrown is a program focused on building and strengthening local entrepreneurial networks. It is a joint effort between University of Wisconsin-Madison, Division of Extension and University of Missouri Extension. Homegrown can be tailored to community members or professionals with a shared interest in learning about entrepreneurship. Through RWEI, Extension makes the Homegrown training available to communities around Wisconsin.

Wood County REDI Plan taps into Homegrown
The Homegrown program will take place over two days and will focus first on identifying the local entrepreneurial community and the resources and supports they need to be successful. Day two will focus on action planning to make Wood County and Central Wisconsin the BEST place for those looking to start their own business and thrive. Don’t miss this!
Homegrown coming to Kenosha County
In an exciting collaborative effort, the UW-Madison Division of Extension in Kenosha County is thrilled to announce a unique, one-day training workshop titled “Homegrown: Entrepreneurship in Your Community.” Scheduled for Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, from 9 am to 5 pm at the Kenosha County Center, this event aims to support the local entrepreneurial network in Kenosha County.

Cultivating “Homegrown” Businesses
On April 29 and 30 UW-Madison Division of Extension hosted a training program called Homegrown in Wood County. The training, held at Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids, focused on how participants can build and sustain a thriving “entrepreneurial ecosystem” in Wood County and Central Wisconsin.
Vernon County Leaders Participate in UW Extension “Homegrown” Training
On February 29, 2024, in La Farge, WI, Extension teamed up with trainers from the University of Minnesota Extension to deliver the Homegrown training to the community leaders from Vernon and Crawford Counties.
