Direct Support for Business Owners

Entrepreneurs and business owners take on the challenge of bringing products and services to consumers. Success often requires a breadth of knowledge and skills. Through critical research, we work to help business owners make informed decisions and provide educational programming opportunities focused on business creation, attraction, retention, expansion, and succession (i.e., CARES).

Entrepreneurs of Color Business Support

The Entrepreneurs of Color Support Team was formed in 2019 with the mission of supporting wealth creation through entrepreneurship within communities of color. We focus on expanding knowledge of BIPOC business ownership, developing educational programs, and working with communities, organizations, and individuals with a shared mission. Our efforts include:

  • Community-based participatory research
  • Technical assistance for entrepreneurs
  • Educational programs with communities
  • Organizational capacity-building and development
