John Clancy is a shareholder and the leader of Godfrey & Kahn’s Energy Strategies Practice Group. John provides environmental and energy-related services to a wide variety of entities, including industrial, commercial, governmental clients. John’s energy-related work includes the finance and development of renewable energy and large energy-efficiency projects, including combining tax credit financing, grant funding and other funding sources, for energy users, developers and investors, as well as the preparation of federal and other grants and funding requests for energy generation and energy-efficiency projects.

Kimberly Johnston, Market Development Director, PACE Wisconsin

With more than 25 years of experience in energy efficiency, finance and market development, Kim leads market development efforts for Wisconsin’s commercial property assessed clean energy (C-PACE) programs: PACE Wisconsin and the City of Milwaukee C-PACE Program. The programs are implemented by Slipstream, a Wisconsin-based non-profit that accelerating climate solutions. Prior to joining Slipstream, Kimberly worked for World Council of Credit Unions developing credit union financing programs, products and services.

Leah Maggio, Business & Industry Program Manager, Focus on Energy

Leah Maggio leads Focus on Energy’s team of industry professionals who provide energy-efficiency services to Wisconsin’s commercial and industrial customers. With 10 years of energy efficiency experience, Leah has provided program design and strategy and engineering support to the Focus on Energy programs. Leah is a Certified Energy Manager and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Systems and Controls.

Sherrie provides statewide education and technical assistance on sustainable community development, sustainable energy strategies, and green building to support the resilience and economic vitality of Wisconsin communities, local governments, tribes, and businesses. She delivers the Energy On Wisconsin newsletter, web site and education programs. She authored the Solar Energy Financing Guide: Empowering Wisconsin Local Governments and assists them with energy and resilience planning and how to profitably and effectively meet their energy independent community goals.
